Kristin joins Wilkinson & Finkbeiner with over 13 years of family law experience. Prior to becoming a member of the W&F team, Kristin was employed at other well-known family law firms in San Diego and Boston. Kristin is passionate about the practice of family law and advocating for her clients with a practical and tailored approach to the resolution of each case.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Psychology at San Diego State University, Kristin later went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego (USD) School of Law.

While in law school, Kristin remained active in the family law community. Kristin was a founding board member of USD’s Family Law Society as Community Outreach Chair, while participating in several other student organizations. Kristin also volunteered for five semesters with USD School of Law’s Legal Clinics, providing supervised pro bono legal representation to clients of limited means in their family law and domestic violence cases.  As a result of her work in the clinic, Kristin received the annual Outstanding Clinic Intern Award, and graduated with Pro Bono Service Recognition with Distinction for dedicating more than 250 pro bono hours to family law clients in need. Kristin was also recognized for her academic achievement and dedication to the practice of family law as recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Family Law, Faculty Honor Scholarship, multiple private scholarships, and Judge Jerald Brown Progress Award.

In her free time, Kristin enjoys going to the beach with her husband and dog, camping, cooking Italian food, playing card games, and watching true crime television series. Be sure to let her know if you have any good show recommendations or need a new recipe!
